Does Myers cocktail have B12? Yes. The classic blend is B vitamins, magnesium and vitamin C, and B12 belongs to that B group. On our Tulsa menu, the two bags that name methylcobalamin, the active form of B12, are Energy and Hydrate at $199 and the Migraine Cocktail at $199. A first booking also includes one B12 shot at no charge, whichever bag you land on.
We list our sources at the bottom so you can check us.
There has never been one locked formula. Our own page for it calls the classic IV blend B vitamins, magnesium, and vitamin C, then points you at a bag. B12 is one of those B vitamins. MedlinePlus, the federal government's health encyclopedia, puts it plainly. Vitamin B12, like the other B vitamins, is important for protein metabolism. So don't shop by the name. Ask what is in the bag, and your nurse will read you the list.
Your liver also holds a reserve of it. The body stores vitamin B12 in the liver. We say that at booking, because it changes what one afternoon on a drip can do for you.
Three of our bags carry that same nutrient family, and no, the lists are not the same. Energy and Hydrate at $199 starts with a liter of normal saline, then adds methylcobalamin, the active form of B12, alongside a B-complex, taurine and vitamin C. The Migraine Cocktail at $199 is normal saline, magnesium, B-complex, methylcobalamin (B12) and Zofran. Super Immunity at $199 runs normal saline, vitamin C, zinc, B-complex and glutathione, so it brings the B family without the active B12 on a line of its own. All three are listed on our Myers' cocktail page, and if the address is in town, the Tulsa page shows how a visit runs. Those prices are all in, nurse and drive and bag.
If the bag you want skips it, a B12 injection costs $25 and goes in while the liter is still dripping. On a first visit that one is on us.
The other big piece of the classic blend is magnesium. MedlinePlus counts the work it does. Magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in the body. The two even share a sentence on the B12 page, in a line about absorption. Vitamin B12 is better absorbed by the body when it is taken along with other B vitamins, such as niacin, riboflavin, and vitamin B6, along with magnesium. Read that for what it says. It is about pills and food, not an IV, so we won't stretch it into a claim about our bags. It does explain why the old recipe kept those ingredients together, and why our Migraine Cocktail still carries both.
A registered nurse starts and watches every infusion here, and Dr. Canaday, DO reads your health answers before a bag is packed. When bloodwork shows a genuine shortfall, that conversation belongs with whoever keeps your chart. A bag off a wellness menu is not a prescription and not a substitute for medical care, and we say so before we take a booking rather than after. Vitamin C sits in the blend too, and MedlinePlus is measured about it. Vitamin C is one of many antioxidants. We would rather hand you an ingredient list than a promise.
One bag tops off fluids and vitamin levels for a day or two, and that is all we claim for it. We haven't read your chart. That is what the health questions and Dr. Canaday's review are for, before anybody packs a bag. If someone is managing your health with you, tell them before you book.
